Since PQ.Hosting was founded in 2019, we've been through many challenges, but each year we've kept our prices as low as possible, realizing how important it is for you, our customers, to have affordable and stable servers.
We worked hard so you could focus on your projects without worrying about external changes. It was and still is a priority for us to keep your life and business moving forward despite all the external challenges and complexities. We are proud to have done our part to improve our services and are happy to announce that the majority of our servers in 42 countries have already switched to 10 Gbps connectivity, giving you incredible speed and consistent performance.
But unfortunately, we have to admit that times have changed and the world has become much more complex. In recent years, we've had to face challenges that seemingly couldn't even be predicted when we started out. Our staff has continued to grow and our equipment has improved so that we can maintain a high level of service. Unfortunately, all of this is driving up our costs, and we realize that price changes may be the only action we need to take. Plenty of peers in the hosting industry revised their pricing policies years ago, but we've stayed by your side, protecting your interests. And despite our best efforts, the time has come for us to make the difficult decision to adjust our pricing policy in order to maintain the quality and stability of our services.
At the same time, we will keep the server rental price the same for all locations. The cost of renting racks, electricity and other DC services varies from country to country. For example, in Western Europe it is higher. Therefore, in some locations we have to reach zero or even minus. We realize how critical server location is for our clients. Therefore, we will keep the same cost for all our services despite external factors.
We apologize for this change, but assure you that it is dictated purely by necessity. On January 1, 2025, the cost of our services will increase. But until that date, you have the option to pay any rate at the current price.
We thank you for your loyalty and support. This decision is given to us with a heavy heart, but we sincerely believe that, as before, together we can overcome all difficulties and continue to move forward.
